Everett, Feb. 01 — A Gold Bar man was charged on Monday for murdering his ex-girlfriend and dismembering her body. The burned-out car has been found now around Snohomish County in which the body was disposed.

According to prosecutors, Eric Christensen, 40-years-old suspect, of Gold Bar took the help of his friend to drive him around the area of Snohomish County and disposing of the remains of the woman.
Prosecutors also mentioned that the friend then contacted investigators eventually and led them to spots were the woman’s body remains were recovered.
Eric Christensen on Friday was charged in the Snohomish County Superior Court with first-degree murder of Sherry Harlan, 35-year-old, who was killed between January 2nd and 3rd after Eric found on her cellphone a text message from another man on her.
According to the court papers, Eric Christensen told to the police that the text message was an evidence that Sherry Harlan had broken a “Wiccan blood oath” that she earlier had made to break relationship with the other man.
From January 5th Sherry Harlan was reported missing as she failed to show up for her job at JCPenney store.
On January 7th the burned-out 1989 Nissan Sentra of hers was found in the Reiter Pit area near to Gold Bar. Later on the detectives said that remains of human were found inside the car.
