Washington. Feb. 01 — After the disclosure of deploying missile shield in protecting the US allies from the Tehran attack in the Gulf, tension between the America and Iran heightened dramatically on Monday.

As disclosed by President Barack obama, the US is now dispatching to four countries in the Gulf Patriot defensive missiles and keeping two ships there that will be capable of shooting down the missiles from Iran. The four countries are Qatar, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. US is even extending help to Saudi Arabia in developing a force to protect its oil installations.
American officials sources said that this move of Washington is aiming to deter Iran’s attack and also of reassuring Gulf states fearful that Iran might react to sanctions in the region by striking at US allies there. US is even seeking of discouraging Israel from any strike against the Iran. It is demonstrating in the region that the Washington is well prepared to contain any threat.
This deployment of missiles came after Barack Obama’s attempts in emphasising diplomacy over confrontation while dealing with Iran. This is a contrast to the previous approach by the bush administration. It failed in persuading Tehran in opening up its nuclear installations to international controls.
However, White House is presently trying of engineering agreement for sanctioning focused on the Revolutionary Guard of Iran. It is said to be in charge of the atomic programme there.
