Clinton spent a hell of a lot during his eight years in office and we ended up with a $800+ million surplus at the end. Bush wasted that surplus on two wars.

jd, it’s time for you to put down fox news and pick up a book. bush signed medicare part d. argument over. noone, and i mean noone, knows how part d will be paid for. add to that 30 billion a month for X number of years on our mideast adventures and you have spending not seen since wwII. bush didn’t veto a single spending bill for the first 5 YEARS of his presidency.
plus, if you’ll recall during the economic meltdown at the end of bushies second term he was on tv twice a week BEGGING for the huge bail out package.
