Man Dead after Barricaded Inside Home

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A man is dead after a standoff in Buckingham.
The person inside the home took his own life.

Deputies received a call just before 10 a.m. from a person claiming the man inside the house wanted to harm himself. The man locked himself in the bathroom and claimed to have a fun.

The scene is now clear. Residents allowed back in their homes.

The man’s identity has not been released yet
