Pembroke Pines man dies on fiery truck crash on Alligator Alley

The Florida Highway Patrol released the name of a man who died in a fiery accident on the westbound lanes of Alligator Alley at mile-marker 62.

Friday night’s Hope for Haiti Now Telethon netted millions for Haitian relief efforts. But the star-studded event wasn’t the only group to benefit. A Southwest Florida organization also cashed in.

Orlando officer Brandon R. Loverde was arrested on false imprisonment, battery charges.
