In last 72 hours Verizon has blocked 4chan.org, the popular photo sharing website. It has informed officially to 4chan about the intentionally blocking of the website. However, Verizon has not stated any specific reason for the block.
4chan.org
4Chan.org founder wrote, “After an hour and a half on the phone, we’ve received confirmation from Verizon’s Network Repair Bureau (NRB) that we are ‘explicitly blocked’”.

Earlier AT&T blocked the website after a suspected DDOS attack that was originating from the IP of site, which was in fact only a technical mistake at the AT&T’s end.

4chan is one of the renowned websites for its extremely active and technically savvy community. As the community is well organized, blocking such a high profile website and not giving a clear reason may hurt Verizon.
